Why is SoftwareONE acquiring HeleCloud?

When will the acquisition be finalised?
The acquisition will be legally finalised on 1 October 2022 in the UK, the Netherlands and Bulgaria. At this point, SoftwareONE will be your contracting party. Separate information is sent to all customers to inform about the legal transition. The brand continues to exist for now.
How will HeleCloud’s technology and solutions be integrated with SoftwareONE’s?
Our product team is already integrated and are working on a unified portfolio which will reflect existing solutions and will further evolve our services and customer experience globally.
Will HeleCloud keep its brand name?
The HeleCloud brand continues to exist for now, but SoftwareONE will be your contracting party.
Which AWS accreditations does SoftwareONE have?
Nothing will change in HeleCloud, now SoftwareONE’s AWS Certifications, as SoftwareONE will have the same certifications as HeleCloud post the integration. SoftwareONE has deep knowledge and expertise of AWS services and solutions, designed to help support its customers at every stage of their AWS journey. Currently already, it has 4 AWS Competencies (Migration Services, SAP Services, Security Services, DevOps Services); 5 Partner Program Certifications (AWS Solution Provider Program, Well-Architected Partner Program, Public Sector Solution Provider, Immersion Day, Advanced Tier Services Partner); 1 AWS Service Validation (Windows Server Delivery) and over 300 AWS Certifications. How will SoftwareONE’s acquisition of HeleCloud expand the AWS capabilities on offer to me?
SoftwareONE’s expansive depth of AWS expertise and knowledge will broaden the capabilities on offer to HeleCloud customers, enabling them to scale-up their AWS operations. In addition, HeleCloud customers will now have access to a broad range of other services provided by SoftwareONE, from cloud and application services in AWS, Azure & GCP, Application Modernisation and consulting to IT Asset Management & Digital Supply Chain.
How will the acqusition affect me and my business?

How will SoftwareONE’s acquisition of HeleCloud impact my relationship with my Account Manager?
As all HeleCloud colleagues will move over to SoftwareONE teams, you will continue to work with the same account managers for the foreseeable future. There might be further SoftwareONE colleagues being introduced to you in the course of the next few months. In cases where you had both a SoftwareONE Account Manager and a HeleCloud Account Manager this will be organised on a case-by-case basis.
How will SoftwareONE’s acquisition of HeleCloud affect any projects I currently have in play with HeleCloud?
SoftwareONE’s acquisition of HeleCloud will not impact existing projects currently being undertaken by HeleCloud. For more information on this you should contact your HeleCloud Account Manager directly.
Will I continue to receive communication from HeleCloud?
You will continue to receive communication from your HeleCloud Account Manager but their email domain will change from @helecloud.com to @softwareone.com.
You can expect to see this email ID change by 1st October 2022. Please ensure that @softwareone.com is whitelisted in order to avoid getting it moved to spam or rejected.
