“Alone we can do so little…together we can do so much” – Helen Keller.
Sandy Carter, VP for Global Public Sector Partners and Programs, and Doug Yeum, AWS Head of Worldwide Channels and Alliances, present the Partner Keynote.
Let me share my key takeaways on how AWS is helping partners modernise their businesses to help their customers transform.
SaaS Boost is unveiled and available for preview. A new open-source tool to help Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) modernise their solutions faster for SaaS delivery models on AWS, enabling ISVs to move to a SaaS delivery model in months instead of years.
ISV Partner Path program launching January 2021, enables ISV’s to build, increase speed to market, and sell their solutions on AWS to the millions of active AWS customers with AWS field sellers globally.
AWS License Manager announce managed entitlements for AWS Marketplace. Managed entitlements enable buyers to govern, track, and distribute entitlements from a software license. ISVs can use AWS License Manager to create, configure, and track licenses for their products used on AWS and on-premises.
AWS Service Catalog AppRegistry enables organisations to understand the application context of their AWS resources, maintaining a single source of truth by integrating AppRegistry with your application development processes.
Professional Services are now available in AWS Marketplace. Consulting partners like HeleCloud can now publish Services in the same place as Software. Customers can not only find and buy third-party software but also the professional services needed to support the full lifecycle of those products, including planning, deployment and support. It really simplifies the software supply chain.
Together we Grow, we Solution, we Specialise
AWS reinforce the importance of Together and highlight the need to differentiate through Programs, Solutions and Competencies. Growing partner programs and resources in 2021 will enable better delivery and speed of customers solutions whilst reducing time to compliance where applicable.
HeleCloud are ecstatic to be recognised and placed amongst the leading global players in the market. This year saw HeleCloud awarded Premier Consulting Partner, the highest tier within AWS Partner Network, and 1 of the 10 new Premier Consulting Partners announced worldwide.
The AWS Migration Competency is the most difficult for AWS partners to achieve and is vitally important and accomplish as migration is so often the start of the Cloud journey for customers. HeleCloud’s AWS Migration Competency achievement was also shared during the keynote.
How can AWS Partners help their customers right now?
Partners are in a unique position helping AWS customers to move faster and are best positioned to help customers to reinvent themselves.
As an AWS Premier Consulting Partner, we share the importance of together, helping our customers unlock the full benefits of Cloud technology, from enablement to modernisation and security through to operational governance we have every step of the cloud journey covered.
