- Why did you choose to work at HeleCloud?
I worked at Olindata which was acquired by HeleCloud in 2019. I originally joined Olindata, because I knew the CTO at the time, and he thought I’d be a good fit for the company. I joined the team fresh from university and was well respected by my peers and the leadership team.
I decided to stay at HeleCloud after the acquisition because I enjoy my work and the technical challenges that our customers present to us. Collaborating with my colleagues to find solutions to these challenges is fun. Additionally, everyone I work with is super smart and inspiring.

- What do you like about working in an international company?
As an expat I prefer international companies where I am working with professionals from a diverse mix of cultural backgrounds. This makes me feel that I fit in more and provides me with the opportunity to learn more about different cultures.

I find it extremely rewarding resolving technical challenges that come my way, as it provides a great learning opportunity. It also keeps me engaged in my work.

I now have many AWS certifications, had the opportunity to speak at conferences and attended many events & workshops, all of which gave me valuable insights.
